Oh irony

Well, after my Mother's Day gift poll, it turns out that my dad DID buy something for my mom this year (although he signed the card from their "other daughter," Patches, and added, "P.S. Sorry I peed on your love seat," so I guess that falls under "helping"). But he's clearly still not getting the hang of this holiday since, after we went out to breakfast, we found ourselves at Target shopping for a Mother's Day gift and card for HIS mother, which he had neglected to do. *shakes head*

Awww! I love it when pets get presents for their owners. It's so sweet!

Anyway, at least it's something. I can't fault your dad too much cause I'm always forgetting birthdays/anniversaries/mothers day/etc.

It's weird because he doesn't actually forget holidays. He's never missed a birthday or anniversary, even if he usually needs my help picking out a gift. And although he waits until the last minute to go Christmas shopping, he's always prepared on the day. My parents aren't big on Valentine's Day, but he'll at least get flowers. It's just Mother's Day he seems to have trouble with. :)
