FASCINATING QUESTIONS.

lol, I picked Mystic Falls for Best Town. Why? Who knows. Sunnydale is the worst, obvs.

In my eagerness to pick Don as Worst Boss, I completely overlooked Quentin Travers. Whoops.

I picked Buffy for most Kick Ass and also the one I'm most like. Whoops again, lol.

NOTHING IS BIGGER THAN BILL ADAMA'S MAN PAIN. srsly tho, on the subject of man painz... The difference between me (personally) finding Bill's angst BORING, and Damon's and Wesley's angsting INTERESTING, is because the angst in the latter category has a POINT, and the angst in the former category DOES NOT. I guess I go easier on Men having Pain if I feel that the men actually have significant trauma/reasons for their pain (e.g. mental illness, etc.)--and are going to develop from it. Whereas, with someone like Bill, the show presumably wants us to find him sympathetic, but gives us no reason to be sympathetic to him. We're supposed to sympathise with him because he's a protagonist, apparently. Which is a lame reason. I think there's also something in there about how characters like Bill and Don really reinforce this particular ideal of masculinity that the show never pokes holes in, which I personally find distasteful. I mean, Damon is my boy for a reason, and that reason is that he's actually a girl. :)
