Etiquette question
Feb. 9th, 2010 11:34 pmI have a question for all you graphic artists out there. As I mentioned, I'm thinking about redoing my journal layout - I got impatient and changed to a basic layout that's kind of the direction I'm thinking, but I'd prefer it a little more customized, including adding a new header. I found an icon that I really like, and would like to use that image in the header. I checked the icon maker's credits post to see if I could find the base image, but there's so many sources listed that we're into needle-in-haystack territory.
Is it okay to ask the icon maker where she got the stock image from, so I can use it for something else? Or is that not cool for some reason? (I'd probably not ask her to make the header FOR me, since I only just friended her based on this icon post and she has no idea who I am.)
