I'd like to think that the underscore lends you a level of personal dignity not inherent when the name and numbers are smooshed together.

But I'm watching this with interest: 2maggie2 happened in a moment of sheer frustration after all the maggie variants that I was likely to remember didn't work, followed by a decision to go ahead and use it for one post, and then letting inertia take over. It always embarrasses me when I see it. So if you change, let me know how it works! I might want to follow suit (if I can find a useable maggie-like moniker out there.)

Haha, I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WANT. OMG, I'm so indecisive.

On the one hand, I only added the underscore because eowyn315 was already taken, so it'd be going back to my original name.

On the other hand, I'm kind of used to it now, and I fear change.

Of course, the whole thing may be moot, if eowyn315 wants to keep it and logs in occasionally so as not to be made inactive.

That hadn't even occurred to me, lol! It started out with my AIM screenname, which had the numbers attached (Eowyn was already taken), so it never occurred to me to get rid of them when I was signing up for new things.

But I checked, and eowyn is also an empty journal, so I suppose we'll see if it frees up.
