Snagged from snickfic, since I also recently added a lot of new icons (and different fandoms, too!)

Choose one of my icons (by keyword) and I'll tell you something about it. Or probably several somethings. In fact, I'll probably natter on a bit, because it turns out I'm a little obsessed with shiny graphics in small sizes.

That would be the lovely lady of my username, Eowyn from Lord of the Rings. I figured I ought to have an Eowyn icon, but I had trouble finding a good one, until I came across cleolinda. She did a whole series of Heroine Addict icons with kickass female characters, if you want to browse for someone you know. :)

Heh, we're so incestuous with our icons. I stole some from angearia and snickfic, too!

Ah, Logan. I love this icon because it perfectly describes both Logan and myself, lol (and one of the things I love most about him). It's also useful, since I snark a lot on LJ, and I like for my icons to fit my mood or the theme of the post. I used to have quite a few eyesthatslay icons, but unfortunately, LJ has not seen fit to give me unlimited icon space, so I've had to rotate them out.

And this one. Hee! Community is one of my favorite new shows this year - scratch that, I think it might be THE favorite. (I'm also loving Parks & Rec and I've always been an Office fan, so it seems like NBC has the best Thursday night lineup since the days of Friends and Seinfeld.) I quite literally lol'd at this scene, so I couldn't resist this icon, although I don't think it works as well in icon form - there's something about their tone of voice and the rapid-fire back and forth that makes it absolutely hilarious.

Ooh! How about "maybe the chair is tal"? Because that one's always mystified me just a bit.

LOL, that one is commentary on JM being wee. :) Because his feet quite clearly don't touch the ground, so he must be really short. I mean, it could be the chair, but I think we all know the truth. ;)

It's a picture from an interview he did, I think around Dragonball. And he just looks so adorable and little kid-like in his big, tall chair.

Tell me about 'Hardison seriously?'! And if you want to ramble on about how awesome the show is, it'll convince me to do a marathon so I can catch up. :)

Oh, you so totally should do a marathon. And do it now while the show's on a break, so you'll be all caught up for season 3.

Hardison and Parker are by far my two favorite characters on the show. (Which reminds me, I need a Parker icon.) Let me put it this way - if Hardison and Chuck had a geek-off, I'm not sure who would win. But what makes him fun is that he's not your stereotypical computer tech - he's also hilarious and has some of the best one-liners:

Eliot: How long is this gonna take?
Hardison: As long as it has to take. You know, I was just pulled up to the ceiling of an elevator by my pants so do not take that tone with me!

Hardison: How 'bout that? Man, you see me?
Eliot: He was injured.
Hardison: Well, somebody's got to fight the injured. Shoot, that's my niche.

Sophie: So this is what you do, right? You take - you take footage of us on cons and you - you download it into that?
Hardison: Yeah, I analyze it, I monitor comms, I scan for all police frequencies, I... you had no idea I do all this, did you? Does nobody respect the van? The van is important!

Oh yeah, and he has an unnatural attachment to his van. And he totally has a crush on Parker, but she's completely oblivious. To pretty much all social cues. Parker is 20 lbs of crazy in a 5 lb bag. :)

What was I talking about? Oh, right. The icon. It's good for my "seriously?" reactions.

That one I stole from snickfic - she asked for Spike and Dawn icons, and ruuger made several for her, and then snickfic solicited suggestions for what text should go on them and we voted. I love Spike and Dawn friendship almost as much as she does, so I snagged a few when they were done. :)
