Overheard at my gastroenterologist's office:

Doctor (to patient): "You'll need to have another one [colonoscopy] in five years. By then, they'll be doing them in airports, during the security check."

I can see it now. The guard waves you through, then says, "Oh, by the way, looks like you might need to have that looked at."

I thought to xray machines were terrible but then I started to wonder how it could just be free healthcare - stick a radiologist and it could be 'yes, you COULD get on the flight, but you might want to go to hospital instead and get that odd shadow looked at instead'.

I'm all about multitasking. And free healthcare.
