Took a brief break to spend the night in the hospital, but I'm back home now. Clearly, nothing was happening in fandom this week that I might've missed. :-P And I still hadn't caught up from Christmas. I guess I'd better try to get through all the "end of the year" memes before January is over...

1. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?

A vacation! Also, the freedom to eat whatever I want (within reason) would be nice.

Date: Jan. 15th, 2010 03:20 am (UTC)I'm still on a liquid diet, so I do feel better, but the real test will be when I try eating solid food again. *fingers crossed* I go back to the doctor tomorrow.

Date: Jan. 16th, 2010 02:31 am (UTC)Now I'm conflicted. I was really hoping to avoid steroids, because of all the crazy bad side effects, but now that I'm on them, they're kind of awesome. The problem is, they don't actually make me better, just mask the symptoms. So I feel awesome while I'm on them, but as soon as I stop taking them, it's back to feeling crappy. Hopefully, the new meds will work quickly to make me better, so I don't have to take the steroids for long.
