BSG question

So, I just finished watching BSG season 2.5, and season 3 DVDs aren't out yet. Razor is available, though (which is weird, since I thought it aired after season 3). I know it's a prequel of some sort, so the question is - can I watch it without having seen season 3? Will I be spoiled at all?

i also have seen through 2.5 and someone gave me razor as a gift. i've watched half of it (w/ a four year old you raely get to sit down and watch something straight through.)

it chronicles the pegasus in from the time of the cylon attack on the colonies until they meet up with galactica, which happens in 2.5. i don't think it's meant to advance the plot beyond the end of 2.5 though.
