LJ question
Jan. 15th, 2009 02:15 pmI don't think this is possible, but I figured I'd throw the question out there and see if anyone had any ideas. Is there a way to filter an LJ comm so that only certain entries show up on my flist? Like, for example, if I only want to see entries tagged "Spuffy" and would like to skip all the entries with other pairings?
I know that I can track tags, and get an email every time a new entry is posted with that tag, but that'll clog up my inbox and also kind of defeat the purpose of the flist. But the total volume of posts on the comm is pretty annoying when I'm skipping at least half of them, so maybe getting a ton of emails would actually be less annoying.

Then once I've read and commented on those, I go back and switch it to view communities only. Then I skim the entries quickly and only click the cuts for things I know I would be interested in viewing.
