OMG so many people on my reading list screaming about this movie. AND IT IS THERE IN MY INBOX, TEMPTING ME.

But I WILL NOT WATCH IT YET, because per_aspera_ad_astra is coming and we (and angearia? maybe?) are going to see it tomorrow in the theater.  AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH

Kristen Bell is amazing and adorable, but my first thought is that she really, really can't play sixteen anymore.

She's not. The movie is set around Veronica's 10-year high school reunion, so she's playing 28.

I meant Anna in the Broadway version of Frozen.

Ahh, I haven't seen Frozen, so I don't know how old the characters are. Kristen sounded like she wanted the whole voice cast to be in the Broadway version, when Idina Menzel is like 43, and I'm guessing her character is... not.

Yeah, Elsa's 18. I get that they were awesome in the movie, but for the Broadway version they're REALLY going to have to let some actual age-appropriate actors have a turn.
