* Some asshole interviewer spoiled the 3rd season of Homeland for Jennifer Lawrence on the red carpet. On camera. While meeting Damian Lewis. It's sort of horrible (Lewis even asks her, "Are you crying?") and obviously spoilery, but Jen's reaction is entertaining as always.

* Natalie Dormer is hardcore, yo. She shaved half her head for her role in Mockingjay.

* An interesting take on the escapism of Downton Abbey.

* The AV Club has an article on why Elementary is better than Sherlock. Oh boy, them's fightin' words! but I actually agree with them.

SO RUDE! And the interviewer totally did it on purpose, too, just to get a crazy reaction. Like J-Law doesn't freak out enough without SPOILING TV SHOWS.

Heh, I was skeptical at first, but Elementary is better than I expected!

I'm afraid I don't see anything more than the most superficial resemblance between Girls and Little Women.

Depending on why you're watching, Elementary is better than Sherlock. It's certainly closer in spirit to the source material, despite the changes in venue, etc. I'm afraid I gave up on Sherlock BBC after its second season. And Doctor Who a couple of seasons into the Eleventh Doctor. I doubt I'll watch it again until Moffat relinquishes control, so maybe never.

I never actually read the Sherlock Holmes books, so closeness to source material wasn't a factor for me. It's mostly about whether the shows tell a good story, has interesting characters, and keep me entertained. Which... Sherlock does far less frequently than Elementary.
