Avengers Genderswap Picspam, Part 1

This idea kind of took over my brain and wouldn't let go until I made a picspam, lol. I mean, I love The Avengers, obviously, but Avengers with MOAR LADY ACTION? YES PLEASE. Much love to ever_neutral, who has had to listen to me bitch and moan about this for months now.

Splitting this up into two posts, because it's a big cast and not in any way dial-up friendly.

Wow, Katee was actually the first one I cast! And I suppose hotness is in the eye of the beholder, lol, since I don't think Milla is attractive at all in that pic...

Besides, Cap is a physically enhanced muscle-y guy, and women with that kind of bulk generally aren't considered hot. It was more important to me that girl!Cap look solid and not Hollywood thin, even though that's what's considered "hot" these days. Katee at least looks like she could hold her own in a fight.

:D, as you say, to each their own, I prefer my cap as my Cap ;), Chris Evans is so hot!!! But I loved the rest!!

I agree with monicaop. Not sure about Katee. She looks it. But she tends to play more gray characters, and that isn't Cap. Sure, he's a soldier, but he's the polite, well-mannered one. I'm not sure I can see Katee being that.

That being said, I love the rest of these. Particularly Natalie Dormer. Natalie Dormer is absolutely spot on. I can totally see her as female!Loki.

LOL, to be fair, before he was cast as Cap, I would not have said Chris Evans plays polite, well-mannered characters, either! But that's why it's acting. :)

This is really cool <3 I'd love genderswapped Avengers. The Tony one I'm not as sure about (she seems to have a cooler/more regal thing going on?) but I LOVE the Thor, Bruce, and Cap choices. Perfect. (Also, who is this Yvonne Strahovski? She seems amazing!)

Thanks! Yvonne Strahovski is an excellent Australian actress. She played Sarah Walker, badass CIA agent in Chuck, and has been equally lethal (although slightly less violent) on this season of Dexter.

(Also, if you watch Chuck, you'll get to see Carrie-Anne Moss doing a more comedic, snarky, but still kick-ass role in the final season.)
