next_to_normalToday's question comes from snickfic: If you were a superhero, what would your superhero name and special power be? What would you costume look like?
Well, the superpower question is easy: teleportation. Do you know how much time, money, and aggravation I would save myself by not having to commute to work every day? And think how much I could travel. It'd be like, boom! Instant vacation, whenever I want! You could just pop into a place without using the door, thereby avoiding security guards, admission prices, and other annoying barriers to fun times. And there is simply no underestimating the value of being able to quickly extract yourself from awkward or embarrassing social situations.

I have given significantly less thought to the name and the costume, perhaps because I don't actually want to be a superhero, I just want the cool powers. Being a superhero has all that responsibility and crap. And Responsibility-Free Teleporting Girl doesn't have quite the right ring to it...
Also, let's be honest, don't most superhero costumes look ridiculous? No wonder they all need secret identities - would YOU want to be known as the weirdo who walked around in spandex and leather all the time? And 99% of the women end up looking more like strippers than superheroes anyway. Holy impractical outfits, Batman! That said, if I had to have a costume, it'd probably look more like this than anything, lol.
