Pairing in the first slash fanfiction I read:
Hahaha, almost certainly something I stumbled on accidentally from The West Wing (Josh/Sam, probably), which I then back-buttoned the hell away from. (Discovering slash for the first time was a terrifying experience.)

First fanfiction I read that made me think, 'YES, this is exactly the kind of fanfiction I'd like to write...':
Oh, I don't even remember, but it was something in the Sliders fandom. Probably something by SouthernSlider, because that's the only author I still remember.

Pairing in the first fanfiction I wrote:
My Sliders stuff was mainly gen (I had plans for Quinn/Wade, but never got that far), so officially it's Josh/me OFC, The West Wing.

First OTP:
Spuffy. I was kinda-sorta interested in other pairings before them, but Spuffy taught me what being a shipper really meant.

First fannish friend I met in person:
Awwww, Sarah and Mark, British Sliders fans that I met... good lord, twelve years ago... when my mom and I went to the UK for the first time.

I WANTED TO BE GADGET TOO! I was once trawling the internet, and if I recall correctly, I found some Chip/Gadget fic. It was a long, illustrated, porny, and epic, and it's kind of disturbing considering interspecies sex is really icky.
