Curious what's in the works for next fall? Pilot reports for all the networks: ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, and NBC.
666 Park Avenue (ABC)
An innocent Midwestern couple get hired as resident managers of an Upper East Side apartment building in New York, with the owner played by Lost's Terry O'Quinn. Unbeknownst to them, the residents have all made deals with the Devil to have their desires fulfilled.
Gilded Lilys (ABC)
An upstairs-downstairs look at the opening of the first true luxury hotel built in New York City circa 1895. [...] Brian F. O'Byrne, Blythe Danner, Madeline Zima and Sarah Bolger will star.
[I have three thoughts:
1. Man, this period drama thing is really catching on...
2. Sarah Bolger! (My second favorite person on The Tudors.)
3. I am bothered that it's not "Lilies." Grammar!]
Joey Dakota (CW)
In this time-travel musical based on the Israeli series Danny Hollywood, a documentary filmmaker travels back to the 1990s, where she meets and falls in love with the rock star who is the subject of her film. When she unexpectedly returns to the present, she must find her way back to the past to reunite with him and prevent his untimely death.
[This sounds like the cheesiest thing EVER, but let's face it, they had me at "time-travel musical."]
Let It Go (FOX)
A married couple — Chuck's Zachary Levi plays the husband — his best friend, and her sister navigate, negotiate, and sometimes manipulate society's unspoken rules.
[MY TV BOYFRIEND BACK ON TV! I DON'T EVEN CARE WHAT IT'S ABOUT.]
Friday Night Dinner (NBC)
A single-camera comedy based on the UK format about a quirky family that has dinner together every Friday night. [...] Monk's Tony Shalhoub and The West Wing's Allison Janney will portray the parents while Kevin Bigley and Gil Ozeri will play the kids. Aya Cash will also star.
Anything look good to you?
