For now. Though I would like to sleep for a week or so, if possible.

Work completely took over my life last week, and then my parents came down for the long weekend, so I'm doing my best to catch up on TV and fandom stuffs. I'm sure this upcoming week will be just as crazy, though, so who knows.

How was your week? What'd I miss?

Seamus and I now have 2 ferrets. One of them is hanging out of his hammock right now and eating. Apparently doesn't want to leave the hammock to eat.

Whoa boy. In latest comics wank, Buffy's pregnant and the fandom's splintered over it. I've had the entire week off and nothing to do but dwell on these facts, which probably isn't good for my mental health.

It's good because I'm curious to see Buffy as a mother and we know Spike is gonna be #1 supporter, taking her to ultrasounds and such, but it's bad because Buffy doesn't know who the daddy is (ANDREW WELLS 4 BABY DADDY! It's a thing) because the conception took place at a drunken party where Buffy doesn't remember the sex and it could be of dubious consent.

The who's the daddy question is actually the last thing on my mind because this is going to be BUFFY's story, BUFFY's tale of pregnancy, and I'm putting a whole lotta faith in Joss to do this right (Coalitiongirl wrote a letter to Dark Horse that I personally approved that eloquently but basically said DON'T FUCK THIS UP. She wrote it instead of me because my letter literally said DON'T FUCK THIS UP.)

The boys on the forums are being misogynistic little jerks and slut shaming Buffy because of the questionable circumstances of the conception, and the negativity because of the plot is reaching new levels.

And that's what you missed in fandom.
