next_to_normalWe are nearing the end! Which means the next few posts will just be random collections of awesome ladies, lol. YOU CANNOT CONTAIN ME WITH YOUR PUNY CATEGORIES, MEME! But this one I actually wanted to stick to, because I think it's just as important to celebrate the creators who give us these awesome lady characters. Even if it's harder to picspam, lol.
Day Twenty-Eight: Favorite female writer (television, books, movies, etc.)

Before we get down to business, y'all should go read this piece from about a month ago on the decline in the number of women writers on TV. It's doubly bad, because not only does that mean a lack of gender equality in hiring and fewer women employed in Hollywood, it also means fewer opportunities for awesome female characters. Not that men can't write women well, but male writers are more likely to write for a male audience. So, these are a few of my faves. No surprises here, lol.
