Yep. I watched it a couple years ago and enjoyed. I don't have many strong opinions on it one way or another, though.

YES! At the time it didn't seem so bad to me when John was all "Chiana, my little tralk" or whatever, because it doesn't seem as harsh somehow than if it was John saying "Chiana, my little slut". But when you think about it more, that basically WAS what he was saying urgh

I was pleased in season 4 when he spoke up in her defense and they both said together "He's not a peacekeeper/she's not a tralk", but the regulars used to call her a tralk or whatever all the freaking time in seasons 2 and 3. And it didn't even make sense when it was Aeryn saying it because we were told in The Way They Weren't that peacekeeper didn't believe in making deep emotional connections, and they were encouraged to keep it casual so there wasn't any issue with separating couples

Yeah, John is actually one of the better ones. Rygel, D'Argo, and Jool seem to do it the most. Which... IDK, I mean, Rygel's an ass to everyone, but Chiana's the only one degraded based on her sex life. And D'Argo obviously has reason to be pissed at her, but that's no excuse for calling her a whore.

And it seems especially callous given Chiana's background. Like, it's bad enough to call anyone a slut, but when it's a person whose promiscuity is likely a result of severe trauma and abuse? UGH.

I feel a Chiana meta coming on...
