But what the hey, my answers are probably different now anyway.

The one who seduced you, screwed you over, broke your heart in a million pieces, and laughed about it.

Heroes. I am still bitter.

The old flame you don't see very often any more but whom you still really enjoy getting together with for a few drinks and maybe a pleasant nostalgic romp

The West Wing. Always good for some nostalgia.

The mysterious dark one whom you used to sit up with talking until 3 AM at weird coffee houses and with whom you were quite smitten until you realized s/he really was fucking crazy.

Twin Peaks. To quote [personal profile] pocochina, So much fun, but seriously, THAT SHIT IS BANANAS.

The one you spent a whole weekend in bed with and who drank up all your liquor and whom you'd still really like to get with again, although you're relieved s/he doesn't actually live in town

Lost, baby. It was a hell of a ride, but there's only so much my brain can take.

The steady

Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Duh.

The alluring stranger whom you've flirted with at parties but have never gotten really serious with

Parks & Recreation
. It's the most delightful show ever, and I feel like a serious relationship would spoil the fun.

The one you hang out with and have vague fantasies about maybe having a thing with, but ultimately you're just good buddies

Friday Night Lights. Parts of it are so perfect, and I occasionally am seduced into wanting more, but then I remember season 2, and I think, yeah, let's just be friends.

The one your friends keep introducing you to and who seems like a hell of a cool person except it's never really gone anywhere

30 Rock. It just doesn't do it for me. :(

The one who's slept with all your friends, and you keep looking at them and thinking, "How the hell did they land all these cool people?"

Torchwood
and Supernatural. (Also, this cracked my shit up: I found the old post and apparently, I quoted [personal profile] snickfic - YES YOU, who was recently seduced by this harlot - on the last meme. Guess what she said about SPN? Partly because the fandom appears to be various graphic and unprintable forms of insane, and partly because I've already had other friends' hearts broken by the show.)

The one who gave you the best damned summer of your life and against whom you measure all other potential partners

The Vampire Diaries. I KNOW. I can't help it! But... I think it might be my new favorite show?

The one you recently met at a party and would like to get to know better:

Downton Abbey! Can't wait for season 2!

The old flame that you wouldn't totally object to hooking up with again for a one night romp if only they'd clean up a bit:

The Office. Shape up, Show!

Yep, cracks me up, too. *g* And you know, I stand by what I said - the fandom is insane and the show still totally has the potential to break my heart. It just... hasn't, yet.

BAHA. NO SHAME. It really is my favourite right now. I was gonna be all "yeh, my fave current show is Mad Men", but then I'm like LOL COME NOW, SELF. WHAT'S THE TOPIC THAT TAKES UP 90% OF YOUR LJ POSTS THESE DAYS? le sigh. ::stares glumly at ruined life::

Once again, our answers are pretty much the same. Community and Doctor Who would be up there somewhere for me, as would Game of Thrones, but as it is there was nothing I outright disagreed with. I shall call you my brain twin from here on out.

Indeed.

Ah, The Office. I have a secret. I haven't watched since Michael proposed. That just seemed like the perfect ending to me. Because I didn't enjoy S6 and especially S7 at all. That just seemed like the perfect place for me to quit.

VAMPIRE DIARIES BRINGS IT.

My thing is that, yeah, Michael had gotten stale, but they all had. And I don't really want to watch a stale show that's also minus a major cast member.

I feel the same about TVD! When it first started I was all with the LOLZCHEESE ridicule and then it continued and... Got delicious? It turned into fancy cheese (like brie!) that's got some strawberry sauce drizzled on it and you're like "Geez, I feel bad for being so rude about it earlier!".
