First, hop on over to OH MY GOD, ME TOO!: The Unusual Opinions Amnesty Post that
pocochina is hosting. It's cathartic. :) Then come back here and celebrate some awesome ladies!
Day Twenty-Four: Favorite female romantic relationship
Jamie/Erin
I was having a tough time with this one. Really, the only romantic relationships I could come up with were Willow/Tara and Willow/Kennedy on BtVS. And it's not that I don't like themokay, I kind of don't like Willow/Kennedy but I find them both problematic in ways that make them not my favorites. Even if they're the only options. In other words, MOAR LESBIANS, PLZ.
But then! Someone on
asexual_fandom recced the Girls With Slingshots webcomic, and in particular, Jamie!

That's Jamie. Despite being ostensibly straight in the beginning of the series, one day she wakes up after a bender to find a woman in her bed. This leads her to question whether she might be a lesbian.

So, that answers that, right? But then there's ERIN.

At first, Jamie is worried about telling Hazel about Erin. There is some wacky confusion and a little cross-dressing, but eventually the truth comes out.

ADORABLE. LOVE THEM. Although it's never explicitly stated, I think it's pretty easy to read Jamie as a romantic asexual, and I love seeing the way her relationship with Erin is developed and how it informs her sexual identity. Awww, but then...

Before Erin leaves, though, there is some miscommunication about whether their relationship should involve sex, and Jamie is worried that she screwed things up by pushing things too far. Then she goes to London to see Erin:

And eventually Erin comes back from London!

Awwwww! *wants a CFF*
