I am still gathering my thoughts for a reaction post, but... I am kind of curious what your predictions are. Did you think I would love it? Hate it? In between it? (And now that I've seen it, you can feel free to be specific about what I might have liked or disliked, since you can't spoil me now!)

I personally loved it - especially seeing all the characters from the past show up - but a lot of people had some negative thoughts. I think you're somewhere in between - you liked a lot of it but still felt there were questions that absolutely had to have been answered.

I'm just a happy ending whore. And I got it.

LOL! I'm an angst whore, so I was kinda like, "Man, this ending is way too happy!" I loved it more than I hated it, though. :)

I was deliberately more focused on the characters rather than the questions, because I knew going in that people who were hoping for answers were disappointed, whereas people who were hoping for character resolutions (JULIET!!!) were mostly pleased.

Well, I think you would have been WTFBBQ about the Heaven!verse thing. I think you probably enjoyed the melodramatic wham-bam action though. Especially that scene where Jack and the Man In Black have their showdown which consists of RUNNING TOWARD EACH OTHER ON SOME CLIFFS WHILE IT'S RAINING AS EPIC MUSIC PLAYS, lolol. (oh God, please tell me you loved that. idk what I'd do.)

Hahahaha! Well, "everybody's dead" has been one of my working theories for a while now, so I wasn't shocked that one of the timelines ended up being an afterlife. I did have some complaints about how it was constructed, though.

LOLOLOL Jack and the Man in Black fighting was hysterical! Granted, I pretty much found Jack hysterical all around, what with his complete personality transplant (way to turn into Locke, dude). Oh, S6!Jack, you are delightful, where have you been all this time??

I loved it personally. There was a lot of negativity when it first aired, but I loved it to pieces. I have a feeling that you'll be somewhere in the middle - not hating it, but not completely loving it either. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Looking forward to reading your reaction post! :)

Heh, yep, that's about right. :) I am totally not surprised there was a lot of negativity, but it also helped me to know how to approach the show so that I wouldn't be disappointed. The entire time I've basically assumed nothing would ever be answered, so I was always pleasantly surprised when they explained something. :)
