My mother, the lobbyist

Haha, I must be rubbing off on her, because I got an email from my mom today, asking me to read over the letter she is writing to her Congressman on health care reform. :)
She is very disappointed that he voted in favor of the repeal and not only went through the entire saga of my chronic illness and expensive medicine and how not having health care would be devastating for me, but also volunteered me to go "have a chat" with him about health care policy.
I doubt he'll actually take her up on the offer, but if so, I'm thinking I should charge her a consultant fee for serving as her lobbyist in Washington. :)
