Look at me being all productive!

Things I accomplished today:

1. Completed parts 1 and 2 of the online assessment for my fellowship application.
2. Vacuumed my apartment.
3. Bought a Christmas tree.
4. Went to the library.
5. Went grocery shopping.
6. Went back to the store to get stand for Christmas tree, since despite "Durable tree stand included" being written on the box, no stand was in said box.
7. Assembled and decorated Christmas tree. (Chelsea has already tried to eat it.)

I know Kelly will be proud of me that it's not some unnatural color. :) I bought a star to put on the top, but it was too heavy, and the whole thing drooped over like a Charlie Brown tree. :(

Decidedly more impressive, lol.

Things I did not accomplish today:

1. Part 3 of the online assessment for my fellowship application.
2. Laundry.
3. My 5,000-word paper.

Oh, well. I suppose I need something to do tomorrow, right?

Mine sits on my kitchen table. I'm proud of my little tree but I've been told it's more of a Xmas bush. :P

I just upgraded this year! I used to have a tiny one-foot-tall thing that my cat would knock off the table, lol. This one's 4.5 feet.

what a pretty tree! I like that it's so skinny; it probably fits a lot better in a small space. i need to look for one like that!
