First, dolphins: I thought this Q&A was fascinating, partly because watching Flipper as a child made me want to become a dolphin researcher. (My parents think it's hilarious that I will swim with a 600 lb. dolphin, no problem, but I am terrified of itty bitty fish.) I still love dolphins and someday I hope to live in the the Florida Keys and have a dock where my pet dolphin can swim up to greet me. They're so awesome and smart - I love the dolphin using corrective behavior on the trainer, lol!

And now, adorable cat videos:

But fish might, you know, sneak up and get you. At least you can keep track of a dolphin. Because it weighs 600 pounds.

i don't mind fish and such, except when they scare the crap out of me! this summer i was working at a nature camp, and i had 2 kids for after care. they like to go "fishing"- using dip nets to see what we can catch in the water. so we go down to the stream and i'm tromping through the water with them, wearing my sandals. the water is a little murky when it gets stirred up with the mud, so you can't entirely see where you're stepping. i took a step and felt something run into my foot (either a frog or a fish), and it scared me. i don't think i screamed, but i felt like quite a wimp. then i was concerned about stepping on frogs/fish on the way back.

also, i hope that fat cat found his way out of the pot.
