Well, I suppose this is the official grand opening of my new journal. Everything prior to this post was imported from my LJ. I'm still working out the kinks (for one thing, it looks like I'll have to re-embed my YouTube videos on my musical posts *sigh*), but I think this is going to be a good place.

Welcome to new shores! I'm glad you're here, though I was sorry to read about your frustration with fandom (but can't claim I don't understand it).

You posting exclusively on DW in the future is definitely a good motivator for me to look by more often, since I enjoyed your book reviews a lot.

I'm wondering if there's a com for that kind of stuff on here?

I just joined a few book comms - books, littleknownbooks, and book_reviews, in order of declining activity level. :) I haven't had a chance to browse yet, but I'll see if they're any good.
