Ugh, my feet hurt like a painful hurty thing today. I went to DSW to return a pair of shoes (because they hurt my feet), and came home with three new pairs of shoes - one of which (the ones currently on my feet) hurt more than the ones I returned. I swear to God, the women's shoe industry has ceased to make footwear and is now deliberately constructing torture devices. I love DSW for their wide selection, because for every three pairs of shoes I buy, I return two of them.
I'm also sore from working out a lot this weekend. I swear, sometimes I think the abdominal pain from the Crohn's hurt less than the exercising.
I finished watching Tin Man yesterday, and I rather enjoyed it, despite Zooey Deschanel being stoned out of her mind the entire time (or at least that what it seemed like). I really wished they'd stop talking about "the O.Z." though. Every time they said it, it reminded me of The O.C. and I found it incredibly annoying.
I also just finished watching Dexter season 3. I felt like this season was a little off, but I'm still a big fan. More detailed thoughts tomorrow probably.
My boss is out of the office for TWO WHOLE WEEKS, so you know what that means - lots of Netflixing at work! I've gotten tired of watching random, not very good indie movies, so I'll probably try to make a dent in the TV shows you voted on in my poll. I've still got Rome and Six Feet Under to get through, but I'm doing those by mail, so it looks like Dead Like Me is up next for instant watching.
Of course, I've added a whole bunch of shows since my last poll, lol. My Netflix queue is now at 448. o_O

Date: Jun. 22nd, 2010 02:30 am (UTC)Have you posted about Dexter? I keep thinking I'm waiting for your big reaction post. Did I miss it? Season 3 is not as great as the first two, I think. Are you going to move on to #4?
Netflix is great, isn't it? You've already been through Farscape, right? That's next on my list.

Date: Jun. 22nd, 2010 02:36 am (UTC)I LOVE Netflix. I had Blockbuster before, but I never, ever used the in-store exchange, and I am now addicted to Netflix's watch instantly feature! It's doing wonders for clearing out my queue, lol. Now if only I would stop adding things, I might actually start making the numbers go down...
I haven't really seen Farscape. I know I watched the beginning, but I haven't seen more than the first season, and maybe not even all of that. It's in the queue!

Unfortunately I'm too commitment-phobic to start something else. I can't afford to have another Buffy in my life.

Date: Jun. 22nd, 2010 03:52 am (UTC)Finding a show that invokes such fannishness is rare for me, so I'm not really afraid of getting too attached. :)

Date: Jun. 22nd, 2010 10:38 am (UTC)I hate shoes. I have wide feet, and it is freaking impossible to find anything. I pretty much have to buy wide sizes, and heels are really impossible to find, even if I want to wear uncomfortable shoes. Right now, I have a bone to pick with Clarks brand. Their clogs are great, BUT-- I have been unable to find ones that have no heel. A 1" heel is still a heel. And if you're walking around all day, it matters. But I suppose no one wants to be the height that they actually are. Or something. I used to have this great pair of Clarks clogs that were flat. They were more comfortable than tennis shoes (which I hate wearing).

Date: Jun. 22nd, 2010 01:31 pm (UTC)See, my problem is that I LOVE shoes. I love heels and I love funky styles... and if I could just sit all day and never have to walk in them, it'd be awesome. The problem is that I DO walk a lot, and none of the cute shoes are ever comfortable. It depresses me.

Date: Jun. 22nd, 2010 10:58 pm (UTC)I'm very picky when it comes to shoes. I know what I don't like and it seems that's the only thing they have in the stores!! *facepalms*
I am not going to read your post about Dexter season 3 until I'm finished with it so I'll bookmark it. (Same with Chuck season 3).
That is a LONG Netflix queue!! O_o
