Well, I guess I have two answers for this. On the one hand, BtVS is still occupying the prime slot in the fanfic section of my brain. I'm not writing anymore, but I do still read fic, and although I've tried branching out, I just don't have much interest in reading or writing fic for other fandoms.

On the other hand, I hardly ever talk about BtVS anymore, so I'd say that Chuck has in some ways usurped my attention. It's the most all-around entertaining show I watched this year, and has gotten the lion's share of my reaction posts. 

No more list of days, because we're almost done! Tomorrow we will do Day 30 - Saddest character death.

I just started watching Chuck thru Netflix, I have only seen the first 4 episodes thus far, it's seems cute and innocuous but hasn't really blown me away. (Which is okay, my expectations are pretty low as it is difficult to find something that both my husband and I can both sit thru and reasonably enjoy, a case of opposites attract :D, and he seems to mildly like it also - so a win so far)
But I am wondering does it get lots better? I think I chose it initially because I saw some discussion here among BtVS fans about it being a great show, but I can't really remember any specifics.

Oh, yes, it definitely gets better. When I first started watching Chuck, I wasn't impressed, either, but there is a marked improvement between seasons 1 and 2.
