Something next to normal, that's the thing I'd like to try

Oh, sure, rub it in, lol. Seriously, I am a total Mac convert - had one for six years and loved it to death (quite literally, in fact, although technically my parents killed it). Problem was, I got it for free, and couldn't afford a new one when it came time to replace it. But this most recent bout with Vista/Dell has pretty much convinced me it's worth the extra money. I'm just trying to hold out until I've gotten my money's worth on this one before I go buying another new computer.
