Not related to the film, but...what you said about PTSD ("The thing about PTSD is, you don't just ~get over it. It's a thing you just live with, and some days you cope better than others.")? That's actually not true, as a generalization. Yes, there are lots of people who have chronic PTSD, but that's actually not the majority of the cases, according to the research. Other people have it chronically to begin with and respond positively to treatment and then no longer have it. And still other people recover spontaneously without any intervention.

Sorry to make your first comment on this long, careful review about something completely other than what you're talking about, but this is a misconception I see out there a lot? And I see where it comes from (because there are plenty of people with long-term chronic PTSD that they have to learn to manage rather than recover from), but it takes away a certain kind of hope for people to maintain that there's just no getting better no matter what they do.
