LOL the minions were HILARIOUS. And yeah, I was seriously side-eying reports of the kid, but it totally worked, mostly because Tony is the WORST at saying and doing inappropriate things in front of the kid. Tony/children FTW.
Also - I can't take credit for this because I saw it in someone else's reaction post, but when the kid keeps asking questions and poking at Tony's PTSD, how perfect is that? It's so reminiscent of what Tony was doing to Bruce in Avengers, and it's like a taste of his own medicine, lol, but it's obviously exactly what Tony needs because it's how he helps other people deal with their issues.
