Something next to normal, that's the thing I'd like to try

I've never actually read any Anne Rice, so all I know is the Interview with a Vampire movie. But I do think it's hilarious that Louis/Lestat are the precursor to Angel/Spike, who preceded Stefan/Damon, Mick/Josef (Moonlight), and from what I've gathered about True Blood, Bill/Eric. Whether Anne Rice started it or not, there is CLEARLY a pattern here of pairing up brooding, angsty do-gooder vamps with morally flexible snarky ones, lol.
