I'm back! Linkspam
May. 9th, 2014 08:55 pmOMG I just want to sleep for like 36 hours straight. I'm sure I missed about a million things (including
mcmegan's birthday, which... happy belated one!), so YOU can leave ME links for a change. Go nuts in the comments.
Today, though, brought a lot of TV renewal and cancellation announcements on all the major networks. Here is the full list, but the one likely to cause the most despair and outrage is easily Community, which fell one season short of its #sixseasonsandamovie dream. Though - as I discussed in the last post - I wouldn't be at all surprised if Amazon or Hulu stepped in, thinking the buzz and critical acclaim the show brings are more valuable than the ratings. Also dearly departed: Enlisted and Suburgatory.
On the plus side, Hannibal was renewed for a third season! Agent Carter will officially be joining Agents of SHIELD on the schedule next year. And Larry Wilmore will be taking over Stephen Colbert's post-Daily Show time slot with The Minority Report.
