Mar. 17th, 2014 05:31 pm* Ira Glass talks about "This American Life" being featured in Veronica Mars.
* This is a great look at the way Veronica Mars tackles class conflict in the movie, which points out some of the parallels to real-life "stop and frisk" and "stand your ground" cases.
* If you are a Kickstarter backer who has been having problems with the digital download from Flixster, you can get a refund if you purchase it somewhere else. (I was unable to get the download to work. Eventually I was able to stream it, although the picture quality was terrible and it kept buffering, but I saw it in the theater and I'm getting the physical DVD anyway, so I'm not too bothered about the download.)
* Here's a write-up of the Orange is the New Black panel at PaleyFest. Also, Danielle Brooks talks about Taystee, Yael Stone talks about being recognized on the train, and a great interview with Laverne Cox.
* PaleyFest also included a Lost reunion panel.
* Jordan Gavaris talks about his fake British accent on Orphan Black.
* Who wants to see Lupita Nyong'o in the next Star Wars? She should totally be the star.
* George R. R. Martin talks about Game of Thrones and staying ahead of the TV series.
* An interview with the married showrunners of The Good Wife.
* Marvel apparently has Sebastian Stan contracted for nine movies. Not that that tells us much, since Marvel likes to lock in actors for as long as possible. The reason they only have Chris Evans for six is because he negotiated them down from nine when he didn't want to make the commitment.
* Keep your eyes peeled for Avengers (formerly Stark) Tower in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
* So I apparently had not noticed that when Batman-Superman (is that really what they're going with, or is that still a placeholder title?) got pushed back, it was scheduled for the same release date as an unknown Marvel film, which now turns out to be Captain America 3. When asked which movie would do better, Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie threw some shade, yo. LMAO
* Tom Hiddleston sings about fairy dust. You're welcome.
