Christmas shopping fail
Dec. 7th, 2010 12:56 pmI love my parents. They never fail to amuse me.
Last night, my mom was at book club, so when I talked to my dad on the phone, he predictably asked, "So, uh, do you have any idea what to get your mother for Christmas?" I immediately answered, "Perfume," and proceeded to give him the brand and the specific fragrance she likes, described what the bottle looked like, and then emailed him a link to it. (I have been well-trained to do such things, otherwise my mother ends up getting leaf blowers or car parts for Christmas.)
Then today, my mom emails me:
I LOL'd for a good long time, then told her to just pretend to be surprised when she opened it. :)

Subject: dad has been shopping
Pending charge: Perfumia, Inc. $63.99
Dad is becoming quite the internet shopper! He probably forgets that I check the statement online.
