Dexter - it's been a while

I wasn't quite as into this season for some reason, and I can't put my finger on why. There were certainly things that didn't work for me, but no more than any other season. Maybe it's because I took such a long break - I watched the first three seasons pretty much back to back, but it's been a while since I checked in with Dexter.
