I'm sure it's redundant at this point, since every American on my flist is posting about it, but I wouldn't be doing my civic duty if I didn't tell people to VOTE. Inspirational quotes, courtesy of The West Wing, which I have been rewatching diligently for the past few days to get myself psyched up:

"‘We hold these truths to be self-evident,' they said, ‘that all men are created equal.' Strange as it may seem, that was the first time in history that anyone had ever bothered to write that down. Decisions are made by those who show up." - Jed Bartlet, "What Kind of Day Has It Been"

"We try to get people to vote for us, and in the process, we hope the people force us to do good things." - Jed Bartlet, "The War at Home"

"If our job teaches us anything, it's that we don't know what the next President's gonna face. And if we choose someone with vision, someone with guts, someone with gravitas, who's connected to other people's lives and cares about making them better, if we choose someone to inspire us, then we'll be able to face what comes our way and achieve things we can't imagine yet." - Toby Ziegler, "20 Hours in America"

The only campaigning I'll do in fandom )
