* Mindy Kaling talks about writing for The Office and her new show, The Mindy Project, the first episode of which is floating around out there (on Hulu, On Demand, and probably other places). Has anyone else seen it? I was intrigued, having read and enjoyed Mindy's book, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? I thought the pilot was decently funny, although much of my enjoyment came, I think, from the fact that it reminded me SO much of my friend Christi (also a doctor, a rom-com addict, and kind of Mindy-esque in personality), which was simultaneously freaky and entertaining. (I've also concluded that Mindy Kaling will play her in the movie of my life, even though Christi is not even a little bit Indian. Creative license, right?)
