Here's hoping. I think I just need to keep reminding myself that "chronic" doesn't mean it's always gonna be this bad. Once I get things stabilized, it should be easier to manage.
Speaking as someone with boring chronic health problems - they do get easier to manage once you have the diagnosis and the treatment.
I have a close family friend with Crohn's and although she has had to make a lot of dietary modifications, she's very happy and it doesn't affect her too much these days. (She's 20 and was diagnosed at 9.)
