LOL?? I did enjoy the author's shade @ the Elena/Stefan "fake break-up" storyline, though. Lord, that was stupid. Anyway, I do mostly agree with the article (erm, save for the bit about Stefan being a great examplar for respecting women's agency - WILL THIS FALSITY NEVER DIE). The sire bond is basically the jackpot for genuine moral struggling on Damon's part. Pity it's so gross in pretty much every other respect!
