We haven't had any awesome ladies in a while! (Hahaha, this 30 day meme is totally going to take me MONTHS to finish, isn't it?)

Day Eighteen: Favorite non-warrior female character
Veronica Mars



Heh, it seems kind of random to put Veronica in this category rather than some other one, but I kind of interpreted the "non-warrior" label as someone who is a fighter without using her fists, and that's basically Veronica to a T, so.

I love her because she's brilliant and snarky and regularly outwits authority figures. She's resourceful and determined and incredibly cynical. She's fiercely protective of her friends and family, but also fiercely protective of her heart, so she kinda has some trust issues. (Master of understatement, that is I.) She's so damaged and not always nice about it, but her hardness has become her lifeline. If you never expect anything of anyone, they can never let you down. Oh, Veronica.

YES! Veronica is one of my favorite characters of all time, EVER.

I've been re-watching seasons 1 & 2 of Veronica Mars over the past couple weeks, and her awesomeness definitely stands the test of time.
