I'm baaaaack
In one of the many gift shops we went in this week, my mom found a book titled, "Quit Your Job and Move to Key West." That's pretty much how I feel right now.
Vacation was AWESOME. I am so unbelievably freckled, it almost looks tan. (Seriously, WTF, parents? I am 3/4 Italian and I still ended up with the Irish freckle gene.) We had great weather, only one rainy morning, even if it was unusually chilly for this time of year and we couldn't really go in the water. I will probably be posting lots and lots about it once I get caught up on RL stuff and my flist (y'all were supposed to be BORING - I'm already 140 posts back looking for where I left off and no end in sight), and once my mother sends me the vacation pictures, which are all on her camera.
Also - and I say this with no hyperbole - best birthday EVER. I think we should do this every year. :) (It's kind of surprising, actually, considering that this confluence of my birthday, St. Patrick's Day, and Spring Break happens every year, that I've never done a trip this time of year.)
Now that I'm home, I feel oddly cut off from the world, possibly because:
1. I actually miss my parents.
2. I spent the week with not only my parents, but with the other guests at the B&B we stayed at, so I've gotten used to never being alone.
3. I can't use my cell phone because my parents somehow ended up packing my phone charger in their suitcase. The battery is not dead yet, but I'm down to one bar, and so I want to use my phone as little as possible since I can't charge it until they mail the charger back to me.
I so don't want to go back to work on Monday...

Pardon me while I'm over here laughing forever... But seriously NOT FAIR. Don't you hate people who just effortlessly get tan? Why can't we be living in those days when not being tan was in, only with less female oppression?
So what all did you do on vacay? Any fun stories to share? :D

Anyway, yes, lots of fun stories, as soon as I get my pictures up.
