* Community is adding two new cast members for its 6th season.

* Now that The Newsroom is coming to an end, Aaron Sorkin claims he's done with television. So you can relax now, pocochina.

* Of course, Sorkin will probably be very busy rewriting all the curse words out of A Few Good Men so that NBC can air it live.

* Not one, but two interviews with Adrianne Palicki about playing Bobbi Morse on Agents of SHIELD. Plus, Clark Gregg talks about this week's episode.

* Graceland has been renewed for season 3.

* I really enjoyed Room, and the movie looks like it'll have a great cast, though getting a kid who can play Jack will be key.

* Michelle MacLaren would be an excellent choice to direct anything, so I'd be happy if she directed Wonder Woman.

* Is it me, or does Katie Cassidy just look wrong as Black Canary? Maybe it's because Laurel's never been that kind of character, and/or because Sara was the Canary first, but it's just very weird to see her all dominatrix-leathered up. She looks like Laurel play-acting at being a superhero rather than actually being one.

* Out actors from Arrow and The Flash talk about the increasing presence of LGBT actors in superhero shows.

* Really cool write-up from jae of The Americans set visit.

* More about The Librarians. I LOL'd at Christian Kane talking about how he had to learn how not to hit people. (In his defense, he is really, really good at hitting people.)

Another article praising John Oliver's Last Week Tonight, because it is just that excellent.

I caught up with it after the net neutrality video went viral, and have since been watching every week. It really is journalism disguised as comedy, and excellent.

When I was in the U.S. this past week, I spent most of the one morning I had free watching clips of it on youtube (which I can't do at home in Canada). I MUST find a way to start watching it at least occasionally, because DAMN that man is clever.

If the reason you can't see the clips in Canada is because of the youtube channel's regional setting, look at the Tunnelbear VPN. It tricks sites into thinking you're in countries that you aren't. It's really easy to use, and they even have a free version that allows you up to 500 MB of bandwith a month.

Yeah, as much as I love Jon Stewart, I have to agree with that article that what Oliver is doing is even better than The Daily Show.

Oh, man, a Room movie??? That has the potential to be so awful...but also the potential to be so awesome. It's a short enough book that it's possible to adapt it without either deleting half of it or making it six hours long, for one thing.

Haha, yeah, that was basically my reaction. So much of it hinges on Jack and capturing his perspective of the world, which will be tough to pull off without it being cliched and grating.

Josh Hutcherson’s shade is out of control.

And yes, nothing good can last in this wasted world and we are all inches away from falling into the abyss, etc. but on the other hand, John Oliver exists.
