Linky things

* My new bb Aaron Paul is starring in a pilot for HBO. I cannot wait for the final season of Breaking Bad, but I'm also glad he won't be leaving my screen.

* Michael Schur talks about the fourth season of Parks and Recreation.

* Another interview with Aaron Sorkin about The Newsroom. The show was also reviewed on the Firewall and Iceberg podcast this week, and the verdict seems to be that it's relatively infuriating. While there are certainly glimpses of what made his previous work great, this show seems constructed to amplify all of Sorkin's worst traits.

You guys, I know I promised to watch it and report back, but... look. I don't have HBO, and frankly, this show doesn't seem worth the effort. I'll watch it on Netflix eventually because I can't resist the call of the Sorkin. Probably.

So this is the last season of Breaking Bad? I've been thinking of watching it. Seasons 1-3 are on Netflix, and I assume S4 will be soon. I might record S5 so that if I like it, it will be there when I'm caught up.

I had high hopes for some good Sorkin dialogue walk-and-talks. I guess Newsroom is the Studio 60 of politics? Oh well. My TWW re-watch is going well anyway.
