Friends Meme

Gakked this from [personal profile] dreamsofspike... I'm actually really curious about the answers to these questions. As I mentioned a while ago, I was going through the list of people who've friended me to see if there was anyone interesting I'd been overlooking, and I noticed there are a whole bunch who never comment, some of whom have empty journals, and others who didn't even seem to have any common interests with me, which makes me wonder why you friended me.

So, I am calling you out, friends! Please take a minute to satisfy my curiosity by answering the following questions in the comments:

1) Do you remember how you first found me?
2) Why did you friend me?
3) Are you planning on keeping me on awhile?
4) if you're on of those that read me but never comment...why is that?

DoS pointed out a potential flaw in the plan, in that most people who never comment probably aren't likely to comment on this, either, but I figured it's worth a shot.

I read your stories on the BSV, but specifically, I found your LJ through Slaymesoftly's LJ.

2) Why did you friend me?
Because I liked your stories, and it looked like you had other interesting things to say.

3) Are you planning on keeping me on awhile?
Yes!

4) if you're on of those that read me but never comment...why is that?
Well, I am still sort of a LJ newbie, so at first I wasn't sure about netiquette and all that. I was just sort of watching LJ, and not doing much with it. Occasionally I'd comment, but I didn't want to just jump in and respond to every little thing someone said, or they'd be going, "Who is this person?" LOL. I like to leave comments here and there at first. I'm more likely to comment on fic posts or fandom posts than personal posts, and I'm more likely to comment if the person has friended me back, since I figure they want to know what I have to say. [And that was longer than I thought, and is not about you specifically, just sort of my commenting habits in general.]
