I got a computer!

Yep, I finally took the plunge and bought a computer. I ended up getting a Dell. It's set to be delivered on November 9th, so I'll let you all know how it works out. Thanks to everyone who offered advice and answered my questions. :)

Welcome to the Dell-dom! Mine didn't even take a week to be delivered, so you'll probably have yours soon. Hopefully, you don't have a cat who'll chew through the power cord before you even take the thing out of the plastic...not that I'm bitter :-P

Thanks! I'm actually on a Dell now (in work), so I feel pretty comfortable with my transition (although I will be sad that I no longer "think different"). I do not have a cat (yet - that's next on the shopping list). Guess you should've invested in that extra power cord, lol.
