Think happy thoughts

It's a dismal, dreary day today, and I'm still feeling kinda sick/tired/cranky/pissed off, so I'm looking for happy thoughts.

Hm, I don't think much happened today (free lunch at school?), but I did make a cute little wristlette out of candy corn fabric. I needed something for Friday that would go with my costume. Oh, and yesterday I successfully altered said costume so it fits!
As for this month, I visited Seamus last weekend, and will see him this weekend. Hooray!

He just moved about 2 months ago for a teaching job in waynesboro, Virginia. So it's around 5 hours away, which stinks.
I have 2 costumes for halloween. For the concert on Friday, I was on a mission to find the most ridiculous "sassy" (as they are now called) costume possible, which was "naughty nemo" (as in finding nemo). It's not so bad- basically a tube top dress, although it's short, so I got some shorts to wear underneath. For my cousin's wedding on sunday- I'm wearing a mermaid costume I made last year, mainly because it took me forever, so I didn't want to wear it just once. And Seamus is going as Dr. Horrible!

Seamus does have good taste, though, if he's Dr. Horrible. You could've been dead!Penny! But mermaid is fun, too. :)

Ha, I know, it's pretty absurd.
And yeah, I showed Dr Horrible to Seamus one day, and he actually liked it (even though it's a musical). At the end I told him it was made by joss whedon, and he said "well I was going to say it was good". He isn't a fan of buffy.
Ha, dead penny would be fun, but I think dr horrible has a better costume. He's apparently already worn the goggles. I'll have to show you pictures, I'm sure they'll be funny
