Well, here's the capper on my really bad day week month I've lost count: Huge is officially canceled. :( :( :( ABC Family, you are dead to me.

In other news, did we know about this? It's an old post, but I don't remember seeing anyone else talk about it. Jennifer Morrison never struck me as particularly (or at all) funny on House, but she's also a big name with "a huge arc" (pause to sob over Huge some more... okay, moving on), which always gets the "mother" speculation going.

Oh, and I have a love/hate relationship with the Senate, but this amused me, because loud commercials really freakin' piss me off. (Now if we could get some sort of budget passed this year, that would be just dandy.)

I agree Jennifer Morrison was way underused on House, and I liked her well enough - she just never struck me as a funny character. I guess we'll see.

LOL, how much of HIMYM have you seen? Because there were years when the show was FANTASTIC, but last season sucked mightily, and this season thus far seems not any better. It's kind of always teetered on the fence between typical sitcom cliches and sheer brilliance, and there are times when it falls completely into the wrong yard. Moreso lately than they used to.

Most of the first season, reruns here and there, and then some of the fifth season and the first two new episodes. Definitely the episodes with Alexis Denisof (YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL ABOUT HIM) but I think the Pineapple episode and the Barney-Robin laser tag episode were the only ones where I really got what the fuss was. I think I just manage to hit on bad episodes.

The first season was pretty good, but still kind of finding their footing. The second season is awesomesauce, so I'd watch that if you haven't. (I like how it turns the typical TV relationship on its head - most of the time, shows try to get you invested in a "will they/won't they" thing, but here, they make you care about Ted/Robin even though we know she's not the mother. And it's Ted at his least jerky. \o/) At the very least, you MUST watch "Slap Bet." Season 3 is good, too.
