Well, here's the capper on my really bad day week month I've lost count: Huge is officially canceled. :( :( :( ABC Family, you are dead to me.

In other news, did we know about this? It's an old post, but I don't remember seeing anyone else talk about it. Jennifer Morrison never struck me as particularly (or at all) funny on House, but she's also a big name with "a huge arc" (pause to sob over Huge some more... okay, moving on), which always gets the "mother" speculation going.

Oh, and I have a love/hate relationship with the Senate, but this amused me, because loud commercials really freakin' piss me off. (Now if we could get some sort of budget passed this year, that would be just dandy.)

NOOOOOO! What are they even...I did not even know ABC Family aired stuff other than Boy Meets World on a continuous loop. Which, don't get me wrong, I have watched for hours at a time. But really though! Huge is a legitimately good show that was filling such a GAPING hole in popular culture. What does this even say to the next person who tries to pitch a "non-skinny people are people too" show? FUCKERY.

As for Jennifer Morrison, if she can drag HIMYM out of mediocrity - even NPH cannot carry it by himself - good for her. I always thought she was criminally underused on House. (Because obviously, WHAT IS A GIRL TO DO besides be in love with her boss? I ASK YOU.) But when she did get to do something, I enjoyed her.

Ugh. I have bizarrely complicated feelings about HIMYM of all shows. There are moments where it is a fantastic picture of urban 20-something life. (I LOVE EVERYONE IN THIS BAR!) And there is NPH. But seriously, there are episodes where if they had to cut out the body snark and the "women are dumb" pickup lines, it would be a trailer of a webisode. And Ted Mosby REALLY IS a jerk! Maybe the first couple of episodes I caught were not representative? I hope so, because the ones I've enjoyed have been fantastic. I would LOVE to be able to like this show as much as everyone else.
