I myself was about to be like - DOESN'T NPH ALWAYS? - but no.

Devo about Archie, but hey, maybe this new show will give her character the focus she deserves. /grumble grumble

That was a good article. I don't understand the hatred for his character either.

Yeah, although I suspect some of the problem is it's hard to give Kalinda focus when she can never interact w/ Alicia. They never really knew what to do with her besides working cases and sleeping with everyone. Her friendship w/ Alicia was where all the good material was.

(I am really curious what is going on behind the scenes on this show.)

I think part of it was ship-motivated - which, in fairness, Jason Dohring was a much better actor and had better chemistry with Kristen Bell, and I think people resented the show continuing to push Duncan as a love interest? Especially in S2, when they insisted on breaking up Logan/Veronica over the summer, so we never actually got to see them together, and they never really sold it why she'd get back together with Duncan.

But that's not his fault, and he didn't deserve all the hate.
