1984: This is a really sad year, because I've only seen maybe three movies on this list, and I didn't particularly like any of them! :(

Conclusion: Clearly I completely missed most of the 1980s, because I've hardly seen ANY of the movies on these lists!

blackfrancine also did a "favorite movie of the decade" thing, but while the 1980s is easy (The Princess Bride), I had a hard enough time choosing for each year. NO WAY could I narrow it down to a favorite for the decade.

Ooh. 10 Things I Hate About You and Love Actually were my runners up--so that's sort of like we have more overlap.

MLP: The Movie! I faithfully watched reruns of the original MLP show when I was younger. (I was so hungry for fantasy, I'd watch anything.) Let's see, that's the one with the "dark, dank, and dreary" villainesses, yes? That is honestly just about all I remember about the one I'm thinking of...

I was going to do this while I was bored in class one day. But I've only looked at the first few years.
My pick for 84 is "This is Spinal Tap" (I think that's what year it was). If you haven't seen it, you should. Very funny.
